I took a route of understanding where I came from. The ROOT, what was studied before Christianity/Catholic Religion? Where and what did my Ancestors believe? In conjunction to my Divorce and my Grandma Violet passing, I started this journey of true-self discovery in the midst of starting life almost from scratch (divorce takes alot on both ends not just materially, but mentally). Boundaries have to grow and be placed differently and a new/rejuvenated empowerment has to be found. I found that empowerment in what I found in my Grandma's home when we were clearing her home. Thankfully, with the support of my X-Fiance', my mother, and sister I was able to tap into some gifts and knowledge I must have had when I was younger... Inner Child to make my dreams come true.

My Grandma Violet had so much history and knowledge in her home that my brother and I didn't even know about. The 4 things that stuck out to me that I really took to heart were:

[ ] A Dream/Numerology Book (with NOTES and marked sections related to our family)

[ ] MULTIPLE Cowrie Shell Necklaces (Sacred to African Spiritual Practices)

[ ] 2 Columns near the door with 1 single River Stone on each (The symbolism just spoke to me)

[ ] A Book and Card showing she was an active member in a wise womens group similar to Masons

So, it told me that she held ALOT MORE KNOWLEDGE than any of us ever asked her about. When I noticed these things it made me dive deep into the history and wisdom that came before Christianity. My grandmother obviously had certain symbolism in her home that she JUST DID, possibly intuitive, possibly with INTENT.

I began to deep dive into the Truth of the Bible and how it became to be apart of our new belief system when we had other beliefs WELL BEFORE. Why did it change? From there I simply found that the Bible just copies tales and lessons from other cultures, Ancient spiritual teachings WELL BEFORE the Bibles first creation. The only thing is THE LANGUAGE and misinterpretations in the Bible are bent waaaaay out of context and on many levels. It literally paints you to be so much more fearful and less in control than anything. However, in the original teachings you can clearly see the LIFE LESSONS for self development in your physical and spiritual life. 

The deities named in these stories (regardless if you believe in them or not) they are meant to give you wisdom in their stories about the aspects WITHIN YOU. When others venerate them, give offerings, have alters, and do rituals it is for calling-in the energy or wisdom they know of the deity. It's just about the same when doing the same for their passed loved ones or Ancestors. Looking into our Origins and the origins of what we read and take as knowledge is what drove me to look so deep... That and my school study of Biology background.

I already had a deep understanding of Egypt and Astrology/Zodiacs, so when I noticed that it actually connected to the Ancient stories and texts I accepted the knowledge from the source. I venerate my grandmother by looking into this wisdom she may have had, but didn't get to share. I pray and communicate with her...in multiple ways (tarot/oracle cards is one of them), I wear her cowries and keep a antique Japanese-style wood box she had. 

So...when being judged and told I was doing Voodoo or Sinning because I kept those items and trying to explain our Origins literally flew over their head OR they sat not even attempting to comprehend. That ... I can only look at as hilarious because it's a simple hard-block to new knowledge and wisdom that could open they're gate to intellectual expansion. I just love my Grandma Violet and she's with me in every action I take, this my reality has been full of miracles and opportunities including being at Prince's Home at Paisley Park (who I'd KNOW she would love to see up there 💜😂)...They were both Gemini's ♊ and I'm a Gemini Rising ♊. 

The gifts I've gathered from them is just a consciousness to align myself for the betterment of myself, my kids, and my ex-Fiancé. I wouldn't change my spiritual practices for anything.
